Fiber inForm show, saori weaving and kids

A fiber show opened August 1 in Santa Cruz " Fiber inForm". I was asked to submit some of my pieces and the opening  reception was Friday evening. more info on the show and the upcoming SAORI KAI blog link to the show and kai here

 I was busy creating and sewing new loom bags for the Saori looms Etsy shop loom bags.
I never make a bag out of the same fabric twice.

  A visit to our  son's family means bringing the Saori piccolo loom for the grand kids to weave on.

and two  really cute pouches  emerge ! the right one is his, the one for his sister on the left  he sewed ( he would have wanted me to be sure to clarify that).

  1. Looks like the inForm show was wonderful, but what is truly wonderful are the grandkids learning to weave and sew and create! But of course they have a great role model!
