we made it through the storms up here in the santa cruz mountains . 80 MPH gusts and over 12 inchs of rain in less than the week. the fires scared CZU turned into mud sides , trees fell, power lines fell, roads and bridges collasped we lost power for 6 days straight . generators kept the freezer and fridge going so we did not lose food but no Internet, phone, it was very hard to be in the dark for that long.
Biden came to Santa Cruz County here he is in Capitola Village which lost half his pier.
so i spun a little time during the black out i praticed my poodle yarn.
when students have sight issues the best way to thread a warp is to separate the heddle threading from the reed threading. this was linda's first threading of a ready made warp and we put it on her loom and she did not have any threading errors! and it was a 23' wide 300 warp! good job Linda!
