Spinning yarn, weaving , and silk painting at Saori Santa Cruz

Saturday June 21 we ushered in the summer solstice here  at Saori Santa Cruz with our Mavens gathering. many came to share and  drum, and eat, and weave knit, crochet. Here are some photos of an absolutely lovely day.

 Jeanette had a wonderful bowel for her fruit. it was a a hand thrown bowel  gift that came broken, but she glued it all back together. a metaphor for many things, and it is now even more beautiful.
