The Saori WX60 folding wood loom goes home with a student Saori Santa Cruz

 Hanks first adventure was 2 years ago with the Saori piccolo loom . He decided to move up to the saori wx60 folding loom which has almost 24" weaving width. he came to the studio to pick it up along with a bench .

Learn to prep wool,spin,and weave clases at Saori Santa Cruz studio

 Sisters came for for a full day at the studio for learn to spin, card, and weave classes.

Ashley and Jen are sisters and there spouses gave them a gift for a  full day of fiber fun classes .

we started out learning to spin on the drop spindle 

then they each got to card on the drum carder 

 

ASHFORD WILDCARDER HERE  IT IS  a small  enough carder  to be portable and yet produce thick narrow batts because it has longer tines.

July my month to card batts and spin yarn for 21 days with Tour De Fleece

 Get ready…..  YEP I AM SPINNER ! LOTS OF COLOR FROM MY BATTS AND SPINNING FOR THE TOUR DE FLEECE 2021! ENJOY! working backwards because Blogger changed all the cool stuff and now it is hot mess , i wish they would fix it!

 had to do a skein of rubber duckie yarn this year!

could not have done these amazing yarrn with out my SPINOLUTION FIREFLY WHEEL

 core spinning with wire! when i took it off the bobbin i wrapped it around a umbrella!
