my empting partical bobbins scarf and experimenting with saori weaving technique inserting i weavingnto a cotton Tshirt on the loom

 In Japan  they do this technique often with T shirts where cut out  fringe likr strips still attached to the Tshirt and  take the Tshirt over to the loom and weave the strips with the Tshirt hanging off your weaving to one side. i decided to try it!

this is my denim blue knit top i used to add a weaving to the hem area 

 see how the garment is attached as you weave in the cut strips 

 when the weaving is done pin the patch to cover the openings and sew, you can sew by hand or with the sewing machine 

this is my knock around top i used to excpriment with. it worked very well so u will try it again with another garment, it was fun! 

   

 

this was not a Tshirt but cotton knit will work as well

i collect partial  or almost empty boat shuttle bobbins  from my classes and use them for a emptying bobbin weaving 

here is my latest  not worrying about anything just using the colors that are there and i emptied 39 partial bobbins!

 this was just some of the bobbins i used
