this is yarn i used for most of my red caps  it is called cobasi DK weight you can knit ,crochet, or weave with it 

i have it in my etsy shop it is a yummy blend of cotton bamboo,silk and elastic

for all seasons wearing

i wove one wool cap with a tassel 

pulling a selvage warp to gather  the top

 i tried french seams on one hat a alturnitive to using a serger 

 off the loom ready to be sewen together

amazingly  the weather has turned and it has been in the 70's for the last few days.
