Spring has arrived watch weaving students learn at Saori Santa Cruz classes

 

Hanna had never done any fiber arts ever .  she will Graduate from UCSC next month with a history major. She wanted to learn to weave and came for a 2 hour introductory class and discovered the Fun and joy of saori weaving

choosing branches from our property Bay trees we cut and students can chose one for there weaving if they would like one.

Joi  came back and wanted  to weave a white monochromatic scarf . I wound a cotton yarn warp for her , and threaded it for her  a few days ahead of the class.

 These are the SAORI CH60 LOOMS i use in my classes. I want my students to be ergonomically fitted so i have looms with different heights and loom benches to adjust to their correct height as well. I have other models of saori looms but the off set cloth beams and the high back warp beam and sturdiness make these  student's  favorites.


I love all Saori looms but i especially love the the Saori

  1. Can you tell me what the different heights are from the top of the breast beam to the floor for each loom please?

    1. Actually the measurements are are 27”,29”,32”

    2. The saori ch60 looms range for 27”,29” 32” remember the the highest measurements model with the metal peddle beam height is adjustable from 26” to 31” (it can be adjust to all heights ). Jill
