3 days of intensive learning at SAORI SANTA CRUZ. LaRayne learned sooo much last week!
first 2 days learn to wind a warp and make her own ready made warp.
day one blue's cotton warp.
love the saori free standing warping frame
~~~~~~~~~~ day 2 white textures! wide and long filling the dividing rod i used a cardboard warp separator to cover the open dividing rod sections till the cap can be slid on.
Beaming on
An example from a different warp of my hybrid threading the heddles using lease sticks and Kenzo System much easier laying the lease sticks on the threading shelf .
LaRayne sent me these photos from her weaving on her white textured warp back at home
first photo she used some of the hand spun textured yarns she learned in class in her weft
she sewed a blouse from more yardage and it looks amazing on her !
there were zero threading mistakes!
I especially appreciated the video of using the lease sticks when beaming the warp onto the roll. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am always trying new ways to help with the tension in beaming on with the Kenzo system . The lease sticks or dowels ALLEVIATE a lot of snarls and help by less repetition of pulling of the warps. This is how i always beam on my warps now.
